I decided to start a new project, because my earlier 4×4(km) open world is way too large for me to fill alone. The problem is that I have to work on nature, architecture and all of the worlds inhabitants… That’s a huge amount of work alone, even only from the modeling perspective. In addition I would have to write code, animate and design on a massive scale.

So, I’m starting from scratch with a smaller project, that let’s me work on all the aspects of game development, but I’d still be able to finish it in a reasonable time.

Theme: Post Apocalyptic Mountain Facility

Why?

Post apocalyptic and global catastrophe books and movies have always had a special place in my heart. Ahh, sweet destruction.

When most of the game happens indoors or near the facility, it removes a huge work load from my shoulders, because nature doesn’t have so big role in the game. The time of year be will be winter, so designing the surrounding nature should be a bit easier.

This facility will inhabit a small group of survivors, which means that I don’t have to spend so much time modeling and animating them. (I’m not aiming for Ultra quality, so making these characters should only take a few months)
